Hi my name is Audrey Cole and I am an Accredited Creative Mindfulness Practitioner (IMMA), mum of two amazing daughters and wife to an incredibly fun and supportive husband. When I completed school ( all those years ago ) I went on to college to become a Nursery Nurse (NNEB). Following this I worked in an Early Intervention Centre teaching Children with additional needs. I have always loved to teach, and found great joy in helping children achieve their full potential. For the last number of years I have wanted to go back to college but was unsure exactly what it was I wanted to study. Having attended a Workshop hosted by Louise Shanagher and Dr. Chris Willard titled 'Supporting Anxiety in Children and Teenagers with Mindfulness and Self Compassion' it ignited an awareness and excitement to learn more. I then went on to complete my training with Creative Mindfulness for Kids and spent the next few months setting up Mindful Mindset. I absolutely love being able to share the amazing tools of mindfulness in a fun and creative way that will empower children to take care of their mental health and well-being for years to come.

Hi, I'm Maria Catalina Piñol , before arriving to Patagonia, I lived in Europe, (Ireland) where I had the opportunity to work and specialize in the area of Mental Health Prevention and Early Intervention. I worked as an Accredited Play Therapist and family consultant, working in different agencies of the Irish community, charities, family violence centers, schools, and Psychology & Counseling centers. I also worked as a coordinator of projects, subsided by the family court, that focus on child protection and improving relationships. Over the years I got closer to contemplative practices and trained as an instructor in different programs such as the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Teacher Foundation course, the Instructor for adults F. Columbia, and the Creative Mindfulness programme, among others. In my free time, I provide my support to different charities that work with children in vulnerable situations or to environmental issues, and I write children's stories. I invite you to get to know me and support you wherever you are, from a place of contemplation, calm and Love.

Hi my name is Denise and I have worked with many children and teenagers over the past ten years through trauma informed care. I am passionate about the wellbeing of children, teenagers and adults alike and feel there is a strong need to support children's emotional wellbeing. I believe that teaching them the skills at a young age to deal with difficult emotions and difficult challenges that they may face can help strengthen their overall wellbeing and that they can grow to become strong resilient children and teenagers, which will also help them into adulthood. I teach children through creativity and play about Mindfulness, how to cultivate kindness and self love for themselves and others and how to calm their busy minds. Children learn all about their feelings and how to feel calmer with the overall goal being to decrease stress and anxiety. At present I feel there is a lot of need for my work in the local and wider community and feel that it is imperative that we teach our kids the importance of mindfulness practices. I am currently offering 8 - 10 week programmes for children, teenagers and also parenting programmes. I also offer workshops.

I am an accredited Creative Mindfulness Teacher based near Cork city. At present, I am teaching children and teenagers on a one to one basis in their own home. I teach an eight week mindfulness course and throughout this course the child or teenager will be introduced to mindfulness. They will learn how to relax and calm their “busy minds”, through a better understanding of their thoughts and feelings and they will learn how to be kinder to themselves and others through meditation, breathing techniques, art, journaling, and visualisations. By the end of this course each child/teenager will have built their own personal “toolkit” which will help them in their everyday lives.

I am a Creative Mindfulness Practitioner for Preschoolers, Children & Teens and a Mindfulness teacher and Coach for Adults. My training is accredited by the ACCPH, IPHM, IMMA & CPD. Based in Kerry, I am available to teach classes and facilitate workshops in person and online and also to provide one to one mindfulness sessions for all ages.
In my classes, I focus on cultivating the qualities of awareness, kindness and compassion to promote positive mental health and wellbeing for all who share space with me. I also facilitate an eight week mindful parenting programme which helps parents to cultivate their own mindfulness practice and to share it with their children in fun and creative ways at home. Some of the main benefits of doing this course are cultivating the practice of being a loving connected presence in your children's lives, even in the most challenging of moments, and helping your children to self-regulate when big emotions come up for them. In addition, I offer a free one hour workshop to schools and organisations working with children who would like to learn about the creative mindfulness method and how they can bring mindfulness into their classes and groups.

I teach mindfulness classes to children through creativity. I am passionate about promoting children's positive mental health and teaching them the gift of mindfulness.  In todays fast-paced, digital and uncertain world it is important to teach children how to be present in the here and now. I can show children how to do that in my classes and also teach them the benefits of practicing kindness and compassion, gratitude and awareness of emotions and thoughts.
Learning mindfulness has so many wonderful benefits and I feel privileged to be able to share this knowledge with children. I can teach them how to find their inner calm, a tool that will be valuable for them throughout their lives.

My goal and passion is to share the gift of mindfulness and self-compassion with children from an early age to help them develop self-care tools and cultivate kindness for themselves and others. My background is in Nursing and Special Needs Assistance in Primary schools. I like to create a space where children feel safe, contented and free to relax. Classes involve helping children learn basic mindfulness/self-care techniques which they can use to calm and relax their busy minds (through stories, discussion, meditations, art and craft activities etc.). Over the course of the programme, children begin to develop an understanding of their thoughts and feelings, thus growing emotional intelligence. With time and practice, they can begin to recognise how emotions “feel” and self-regulate accordingly. This is especially helpful for children who struggle with managing difficult emotions/struggle with worries/anxiety/fears. I work with schools, wellbeing centres, in community spaces and afterschool clubs offering six or eight-week programmes based on the principles of the Creative Mindfulness Kids Method, adapting classes to suit each individual’s needs.

While my children were small. I ran a small childcare service for 5 years. I have a huge interest in early childhood education and how we can empower children from a young age to be confident and encourage their strenghts to shine through. Having completed Creative Mindfulness for children in 2020 and introducing mindfulness to my students, I went on to study mindfulness for adults. Practicing mindfulness has had such a positive impact on my own life, my relationships and on my work. Practicing mindfulness is suitable for anyone at any age and can take as little as 1 -5 minute’s of practice a day to experience the results. I really believe that mindfulness is a powerful self-care tool that every child and adult should have in their back pocket for when they might need it. I have worked for 25 years in sales and marketing and have recently moved into Human Resources. There is a huge emphasis on employee wellness and the benefits of providing corporate wellness programs in the workplace are huge. I am passionate about introducing mindfulness and wellness practices into the workplace. Running regular engaging programs for employees promoting self care, wellbeing and coping strategies is a great way for employeers to take care of their employees. If you take care of your employees they will take care of you!Everyone has struggles at some point in their lives and sharing these practices could really help someone make a difference in their life. I started working with children over twenty years ago, teaching dance and drama. For several years I taught dance as part of the P.E. curriculum in national schools and ran courses for principals and teachers. After my son was born, I decided to focus on bringing movement and storytelling to toddlers and pre-schoolers at parent and toddler groups and play cafés. Pre Covid, I achieved a post graduate diploma in Cultural Event Management and ran a play café and children and family events. I’ve been practicing mindfulness and meditation for several years myself and after completing a wellbeing in schools course with the Irish Mindfulness Academy, I went on to do the Creative Mindfulness course. Teaching children about mindfulness and meditation through arts and crafts is such a great idea and the children really enjoy it. It is so important now more than ever that we give children the tools to manage their mental health. I am currently working with children aged 5-12 in North Dublin through Zoom classes with craft materials posted to the children each week.

I am a qualified Accredited Children's Creative Mindfulness Practitioner. My aim is to promote children's positive mental health and wellbeing. Mindfulness enables children to understand all of their feelings and therefore be kinder to themselves & others by using fun and creative mindfulness methods. I am a mum to two boys and I am aware of how difficult it can be for children growing up in this ever changing world. I worked previously as a children’s nurse for 15 years and had a tough decision to leave my job to care for my son which is when I found my love for mindfulness. I feel very strongly that children should be able to accept their feelings, understand them (both good and bad feelings) and who they are, and by using mindfulness techniques, I aim to give children the internal tools to help them deal with difficult situations they may encounter in everyday life. I feel so privileged to be able to share my knowledge with children and currently, I have the honour of working with children aged 4-12 years in schools, youth clubs and group sessions. Mindfulness is awareness that arises through paying attention, on purpose, in the present moment, and non-judgmentally.” Jon Kabat-Zinn
Mindfulness aims to help you:
  • become more self-aware
  • feel calmer and less stressed
  • feel more able to choose how to respond to your thoughts and feelings.
  • cope with difficult or unhelpful thoughts
  • be kinder towards yourself.

Mindfulness supports children to develop skills to manage stressful situations, to focus and improve attention, builds resilience, improves emotional regulation and emotional literacy and builds positive mental health and wellbeing.
The benefits of mindfulness are becoming more and more well known. I believe that teaching these skills to children will help their mental health and wellbeing and help children grow to be more compassionate to others and themselves as well as having strategies to combat whatever life throws at them- which is essential in the world we live in as so many children are struggling with their feelings, emotions and life generally.
This has grown to become a passion of mine over the last few years- particularly due to the pandemic and the increase in mental health and wellbeing issues being identified in children and young people. Helping children to build a tool kit to cope is a driving force within me. I want to make a difference.
I have qualified as an IMMA certified Creative Mindfulness Practitioner, meaning I am able to teach mindfulness to groups of children aged 4-12. I am also trained to deliver the Mindful Heart Curriculum developed by my amazing mentor Louise Shanagher.
As well as this, I am a qualified primary school teacher, DBS checked and am currently completing my Msc in Mental Health and Wellbeing in Education, where I have focused predominantly on ADHD and SEND. All enquiries will be answered quickly.
Together we can make a difference in the lives of children.
Feel free to contact me if you wish to discuss any questions you may have, if you want any specific resources or if you are interested in having me facilitate a mindfulness workshop or a scheme of lessons for a group of children.
All enquires will be answered quickly .

Hello, my name is Louise and I am a mindfulness and yoga teacher. I provide a bespoke service to support anxiety in children (with yoga and mindfulness) and young teens (with mindfulness).  I have trained in the Creative Mindfulness for Kids method with Louise Shanagher and the Connected Kids method with Lorraine Murray. I am also a registered children's yoga teacher. I use evidence-based practices to empower children and teens to understand their anxiety, build resilience and begin to flourish.  I also aim to cultivate self-kindness as we can so often forget that we are enough and that we belong just as we are. I have worked with children for many years as a qualified teacher, a school welfare mentor, and as a teaching assistant. I also have play therapy qualifications and a masters in Health Psychology. I had anxiety growing up and I know how lonely this can feel, how difficult it can make ordinary things and how it can seep into family life. Mindfulness has supported me throughout my adult life and I wish I had discovered it as a child. I wholeheartedly believe in every child and young person's ability to discover their inner value and grow well-being through mindfulness. I have an enhanced DBS, am fully insured and am a member of the International Mindfulness and Meditation Alliance. I also undergo continual professional development.

I am a creative mindfulness practitioner based in Dublin and can facilitate groups of children aged 4 to 12. I am currently furthering my training through additional courses in mindful parenting and creative mindfulness for pre school and teenagers. My training is enhanced with regular practice day sessions and workshops. In 2022 I attended a workshop on supporting anxiety in children and teens facilitated by Dr Chris Willard and Louise Shanagher and also attended Trauma informed mindfulness practices for kids with Louise Shanagher and Karen Power. Through art and craft, storytelling and activities within the classes, the children learn mindfulness. The classes focus on awareness and compassion based practices, which helps support the children's mental and physical wellbeing for life. As a parent to four children, I have witnessed first hand the immense benefits of the creative mindfulness method on their mental health and wellbeing. My background is in learning and development in multinationals. I have a huge love for learning and have been interested in mindfulness for some years. It is an immense privilege to facilitate creative mindfulness classes for children.

FETAC Level 5: Special Needs.

Hi everyone, I am so grateful to have completed my accredited Creative Mindfulness Practitioners Course allowing me to work with children ages 4 to 12. Being creative and bringing in lots of visuals is a great way to introduce children to mindfulness. Children will learn how their thoughts affect their emotions and reactions, and how that can reflect in the body. Scientific studies tell us that mindfulness plays a part in promoting positive mental health and well being. Louise Shanagher has taught so many children throughout the country. With Louise's teachings and vast experience in creative mindfulness for children, she has inspired me also to teach. I look forward to passing on Louise's teachings with the values and integrity that Louise promotes.

At Let's Create Art Club Ltd we give children the opportunity to express, explore and experiment through visual arts. I became an accredited Creative Mindfulness practitioner in early 2023 and now teach mindfulness courses both in and out of school settings with small groups of children aged 4-12. Course length and content can be discussed as there is a degree of flexibility. Through meditation, discussion, breathing techniques and creativity, we will teach young children a wide variety of ways in which they can add to their mindfulness toolkits which, with practice, will assist them day to day and throughout their lives. For twenty years meditation and mindfulness - mind, body & soul - has been a regular feature in my life. I believe everyone should have access to both their own creativity as well as access to tools for mindfulness and self awareness, and the two together is a fantastic complimentary pairing with huge benefits. I feel incredibly passionate about being proactive not just reactive when it comes to mental health and teaching children early how to support their own good mental health as much as supporting someone experiencing poor mental health, is of equal importance. Visit Letscreateartclub.co.uk for more information or to get in touch.
